Technology that has been affected by the sport of racing

Almost all of the technology that has been put onto the bike have come out of people that set out to improve their skills and the skills of the bike. All the racers usually customize specific items that may even be the size of a pen but this customized part is the difference between a win or a loss, even as far as a correct landing and a screw up landing where you're paralyzed and can't even perform normal involuntary functions by yourself. Every person riding has a bad opinion about one or more dirt bike products and this is how there is so many improvements to the dirt bike since the invention of the first bike. The invention of the dirt bike was one of the best inventions that was made for the outdoor sorts world.

Additional technologies put into the dirt bike

The dirt bike has some gadgets that make it more personalized to the rider. There is power steering so the rider gets the easier steering. There is also a steering stabilizer that is a gage that controls the resistance of the handle bars. Many different small gadgets have been added to the dirt bike to complement the rider and his physical needs. The dirt bike has many speed controlled items that control the bike, like the pipe on a two stroke bike. There is an odometer that people put on their bikes that tells them their speed of the bike and the distance traveled. For riding in cooler conditions people invented the handle bar warmers that the rider can manuelly turn on at the bars. New metal mixes have come out to help improve the bike weight which can be important if the bike falls on top of you. Not just the bike has had improvements but the gear the rider wears is another major improvement. Riders round the world have set out to reach their goal, which is to make the dirt biking sport the safest it can be. New helmets have come out that are light but save peoples lives every day.

What kinds of technology has been put into the dirt bike since the invention

The dirt bike has gotten a lot of new top design technology since the invention of the first suspected dirt bike. They put a new cutting edge set of tires with more tread count and bigger tread to be able to grip the trails. They put new fork suspension to take the rapid beating of the rocky trails. At that same time they improved the rear suspension to take the hit for the comfort of the rear end of the rider. There has been many improvements to the design of the bike where they have lightened the bike so that it is easier to maneuver around the trails. This is where S. Honda invented the two- stroke bike that weighs half as much yet has as much power as the four stroke. The traditional dirt bike has a kick starter on the right side of the motor, this has not changed since the roots of the dirt bike, however, there is a special edition bike that has the kick start on the other side of the bike so it can be started easier for a lefty. The throttle is another thing that hasn't changed very much. The throttle is on the right side on the handle bars and all it takes to accelerate is the twist of a wrist. Many bikes have changed in size so they are bigger and they can take the hits that the dirt bike has to take.

Britian use of the dirt bike

Dirt biking is said to be created on the Europe country side. The first starting was said to be in France where people would race individually through the trees and on top of the mountain tops. The word motocross came from the two words motorcycle and cross country. In 1924, the first off road race in Britain was held, this event was called a Scramble and this would be the first known off road dirt bike race. Over the years people throughout the country would shorten the track and add a few more laps to the race to make off-road racing evolve into the motocross that we know now. They shortened these tracks so the spectators could watch the race easier and it would be easier to manage the race for the hosts. The start of the sport of motocross started at the time of the world war one and the great depression so the sport slowed down at this time but it didn't stop the citizens from starting the sport. Honda introduced the new bike that would give families easier ways of transportation. Now Germany has one of the biggest enduro races in the world. The European countries are more into the enduro racing instead of the motocross track racing.

The invention of the dirt bike for the USA

The dirt bike is debatable when it comes to who invented it. Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach are said to be the first inventors of the motor bike. Although it wasn't an actual dirt bike this was the first actual bike. Now, Soichiro Honda is the founder of Honda industry and he is said to be the one who started the off-road dirt biking. He started this because at the time the thugs and the bikers were riding at the time, pushing people off the road. They would push the other riders in the ditches and off by the ponds. He made this transformation in the late 1950's and the early 1960's. At this time he put a better suspension and the bigger tires and then put more traction on the tires. By 1963 these new and improved bikes were being seen on the back of pick-up trucks and rvs. People all over were taking these bikes from the store by the bulk. Retired men who never thought them selves to be bikers were buying them to get around the camp ground and get to their favorite fishing ponds faster and easier. Children were riding them to school, just as their mothers would use them to get to the market and back faster.

There are many types of dirt bike brands and hard to say but the USA has the best produced dirt bikes in the world. The parts are easier to get and they are used by the top competitors in the world.
